The Tudors actress Sarah Bolger will be introduced in the upcoming second season as Princess Aurora, who was cursed by the evil Maleficent, reports TV Line.
True Blood's Kristin Bauer van Straten portrayed Maleficent during the first season of the show.
Bolger also previously appeared in The Spiderwick Chronicles and In America, which she was nominated for at the Independent Spirit Awards and Critics Choice Awards.
Another Disney character cast in the fantastical series is The Hangover star Jamie Chung, who will play Chinese warrior Mulan.
Both Bolger and Chung will join the show as recurring characters.
Once Upon a Time will return this fall on Sundays at 8/7c on ABC.
