Olly Murs has reportedly denied claims that he is confirmed to host this year's Xtra Factor.
The former contestant was reported to have told fans in Dublin that he would reprise his role as co-presenter on ITV2's X Factor spinoff show this summer.
However, Murs has since told Celebritain: "I want to do it, but it hasn't been confirmed.
"It's too early, X Factor don't confirm anything until much nearer the time. There are no dates confirmed, nothing."
Murs is believed to have been told by show boss Simon Cowell that he must choose between his music career and his Xtra Factor role.
The singer hosted last year's show alongside Caroline Flack. The pair took over from Konnie Huq. Previous hosts were Holly Willoughby and Ben Shephard.
