Keith Olbermann countersued by Current TV
Keith Olbermann has reportedly been countersued by Current TV.
The broadcaster sued the US network for $50m earlier this week, after hitting out at 'shoddy equipment' and poor leadership.
Current TV has now claimed that the former Countdown host failed to show up to work on several occasions, reports TMZ.
The lawsuit filed at LA County Superior Court claims that Olbermann only turned up for 19 of his 41 work days in January and February in an attempt to "sabotage" the network.
It also alleges that the presenter once smashed a glass mug on the set.
Current TV fired Olbermann on March 30 and replaced his programme with a new show hosted by former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer.
The network is also facing issues in the UK after it was dropped from the pay-TV lineup of part-Rupert Murdoch-owned satellite broadcaster Sky.
