Andrew W Marlowe has teased the upcoming season finale of Castle.
The Castle creator revealed that Judith Scott will return as the late Captain Montgomery's wife Evelyn, reports TV Line.
"Events force us to wonder whether the case we're working on might be linked to the Beckett mother murder case," Marlowe said. "We'll be picking at that scab again."
Tahmoh Penikett of Battlestar Galactica fame has also joined the cast for the season finale.
Castle star Stana Katic previously spoke of her desire for a romantic storyline between her character Kate Beckett and Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion).
Castle's season finale will air on May 7 at 10/9pm ET on ABC.
